We are happy to announce that 3photon will exhibit at SPIE Photonics West on February 4-6, 2020 in San Francisco, California.

Our booth number is 3136 and we will be located near coffee area in hall D. You can just grab a cup of coffee or tea and while you enjoy it – welcome to check out non-linear, laser crystals and optics showcase. You will see some of our TOP products there, including Cr:ZnSe, LBO and Variable reflection mirrors.

SPIE Photonics West is one of the largest events on optics, lasers and photonics technologies. Apart of conferences and BIOS exhibition there will be lots of interesting activities from startup pitches to panel discussions. Check out event highlights here.

 

During SEB & Civitta 3 months program for SMEs “Grow your business 10 X” 3photon presented new development. Pockels Cells (optical switches) – a critical component in actively q-switched lasers.

• We have made cells from very high LIDT optical crystals;
• Crystal has extremely tight isolation to protect it from environment. Isolation also to protects laser electronics and the laser engineer;
• Our engineers can manufacture cells at almost any size. Pockels cell installation is easier and faster.
• You can clean cells using pressurized dry air . No need to disassemble whole cell to clean it!;
• We very firmly bonded  wires directly to crystal. This is unlike the usual market solution (conductive connectors outside the volume).
• Instead of protective windows we applied anti-reflective protective coatings to protect the crystal and reduce light loses.

 

Ernius Karolis Kapačinskas represented 3photon at Agency for Science, Innovation and Technology (MITA) organized accelerator program.

During the week 3photon representative met local photonics and semiconductors companies & universities to discuss future partnership. Ernius also visited Materials Research Society exhibition in Boston.
